Nursery

Babies – 18 months

The health and safety of your little one is a primary concern for us. We are committed to keeping the nursery a clean and safe place. Our child to adult ratio ensures that your child’s needs will be personally met as he or she experiences God’s love.
*A nursing room is available for Nursing moms in our Baby-Toddler area.

Preschool

2 years – Kindergarten

Children experience a morning filled with fresh, fun and multi-sensory activities which include music, crafts and snacks teaching your child Biblical truths helping them grow in the knowledge of God and His love for them.

Children 9:30 Hour

1st – 3rd grade – Room 211B
4th – 6th grade – Room 202B

1st – 6th graders learn monthly virtues that are centered around three basic truths:

* I need to make the wise choice.
* I can trust God no matter what.
* I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

These truths echo the three areas in which Jesus grew: wisdom, faith, and friendship. Our goal is to help kids become more like Jesus and devoted Christ followers.

Children in 1st – 6th grade experience a large group time with fun and exciting games, activities, drama, and high energy music. Then they move on to small groups where adult leaders lead them through a time of discussion and prayer time helping children understand how the Bible lesson and monthly virtue apply to their daily lives.

Each week, every child receives a God Time Card and a Refrigerator Door to help parents reinforce the monthly virtue at home.

Children 11:00 Hour

1st – 6th grade

During the 11:00 hour, children go into graded classrooms designed for their age group. Children dig deeper into God’s Word and learn what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

During this time, children build relationships with their leaders and the other children in their class as together, they grow in their knowledge of God and grow stronger in their relationship with Jesus through Bible study, scripture memory and small group discussions.

Children also begin to identify ways they can serve Christ and how to reach others for Christ through hands-on mission projects.

Raceway Staff and Volunteers

Our Children’s Ministry staff and volunteers are dedicated to helping children build a biblical worldview, one that will transform their lives and ignite a love for Jesus that will impact generations to come. We want every child to discover just how much Jesus loves them and that God’s Word is written just for them. We believe that when a child is trained to love, honor and obey God, their life will impact their home, their community, and their world for Jesus Christ.
