What is MOPS?
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, an international organization that exists to encourage and nurture mothers who have children under age five.
MOPS is a place where moms have the opportunity to make new friends, share experiences, laugh together, and learn trusted principles pertaining to womanhood, marriage, and parenting.
MOPS groups gather throughout the United States, Canada and numerous other Countries to meet the needs of more than 100,000 women each year.
If you are a mom who:
- Is pregnant or has a child aged newborn through kindergarten
- Enjoys making new friends
- Wants to share the challenges and joys of motherhood
- Is looking for opportunities for personal growth through trusted resources
…then YES, MOPS is definitely for you!
The group meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month, 9am-11am.
Emmanuel Baptist Church
10100 Metcalf Ave Overland Park, KS 66212
During the MOPS meetings, children are cared for in a program called MOPPETS. They will enjoy stories, crafts, snacks, and playtime.
The registration fee is $60 per semester. This fee helps cover childcare, creative activities, and MOPS International fees. With your MOPS registration, you will receive a one-year subscription to MomSense magazine, a children’s DVD, Mom-E-Mails, and other fun gifts from MOPS International.
*Scholarships are available.
