Moses   Part 7    March 11

Moses influenced people enamored with the pain of the past and sin.  God got Israel out of Egypt but it was harder getting Egypt out of Israel.  Egyptian slavery shaped their perception making them feel unloved, unable, unresponsive to life-giving opportunities.  God gives us the chance to choose life, freedom, and blessing.  Now is the time for a spiritual “New start” that impacts every area of life.  God’s promises and provisions are illustrated in epic story of Moses and the Exodus.

Deborah   Part 9    May 13

Deborah found herself in difficult circumstances with little hope.  She was surrounded with brokenness, disbelief, and defeat.  Despite her circumstances, she took bold steps to break the sin cycle and craft a new life.  God is still able to set us free and give us a new hope, but like Deborah, we are required to take strategic steps of faith.  In these steps of faith we discover that God is still able to do more than we could ever dream.  Don’t settle for the best the world has to offer, choose God’s amazing opportunities.
