What is MOPS?
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, an international organization that exists to encourage and nurture mothers who have children under age five.
MOPS is a place where moms have the opportunity to make new friends, share experiences, laugh together, and learn trusted principles pertaining to womanhood, marriage, and parenting.
MOPS groups gather throughout the United States, Canada and numerous other Countries to meet the needs of more than 100,000 women each year.

When do we meet?
The group meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month, 9am-11am.

What is MOPPETS?
During the MOPS meetings, children are cared for in a program called MOPPETS. They will enjoy stories, crafts, snacks, and playtime.
How much does it cost to join?
The registration fee is $60 per semester. This fee helps cover childcare, creative activities, and MOPS International fees. With your MOPS registration, you will receive a one-year subscription to MomSense magazine, a children’s DVD, Mom-E-Mails, and other fun gifts from MOPS International. *Scholarships are available.

One Service Sunday

On Sunday, August 31st, we will have only one Worship service at 11 o’clock.
Childcare will be provided for babies thru 2 years old during the 11 o’clock service. The children 3 years old thru 6th grade will be able to attend the Worship service with their family.

Church family, thank you for the many donations you gave of food, money, and craft supplies. Thank you for your daily prayers that were felt throughout our busy days. Your encouragement and support are a blessing.
Teachers, volunteers, youth and staff, thank you for the endless things you did to make Outrigger Island a success. Several children came to know Christ and children came from all over Kansas City to be part of the adventure here at EBC. May the Lord bless each of you for all that you gave to help children find Jesus and become like him!
